John Keegan- Assistant Director, Research Associate

John Keegan is the co-director and Lead Investigator for the New Jersey Paranormal Resource Group (NJPRG). John began investigating paranormal phenomena in 1990, and spent many years studying the history of the field and the methods employed. Over the years, he became skeptical of the conclusions drawn by many “famous” investigators, especially those misusing technical equipment to justify questionable conclusions. In 2006, he began active field investigations in New Jersey, focusing on application of scientific principles rather than “ghost hunting” techniques. By day, John is a chemical engineer with experience in the pharmaceutical and nutritional industries. As a part of his work, John conducts technical investigations and root cause analysis to ensure that drugs and foods are safe for the public. John uses those skills, and his deep knowledge of theoretical physics and quantum mechanics, as tools in the investigation of paranormal claims. John is also a professional critic, and operates the website Critical Myth.

They continue to work together in an effort to further understand the mechanics of precognition and communication with the hereafter. Steven Crampton - Research Associate

Steven was born on July 18, 1979 in Dunkirk, New York. He has been fascinated by the subject of paranormal phenomena since the age of 6. Having grown up less than 10 miles from Lily Dale, New York (the world’s largest center for spiritual development and the practice of the Spiritualist religion) the idea of the spirit world inter-weaved with the physical world has been a constant presence in his life since childhood. During those years of study, he has researched the following subjects extensively: Reported Paranormal Phenomena, Electronic Voice Phenomena(Raudive Voices), Physics, Ghosts, Life After Death, Out of Body Experiences, Astral Projection, Extra Sensory Perception, Psychic Abilities, Cryptozoology, UFO's, The Bermuda Triangle, World Religions, The Occult, and Native American Mysticism. In 2010, Steven took the next step by going out in to the field for hands-on investigating of reported paranormal phenomena by using environmental surveying equipment. The aim of his research is to look for environmental changes that have been reported during a paranormal event that appear to defy our modern understanding of physics. Since then, Steven has been doing field research and building custom equipment under the guidance of David Rountree in an effort to understand the nature of reported paranormal phenomena and attempting to get the main stream science community actively involved in researching such events. With the world science community making great leaps in our understanding of the Multiverse, he foresees the merging of these two separate science communities in the future of paranormal research. It is his goal to help bridge this gap by applying true scientific method to his research in an attempt to bring everyone back together in search of facts and truth, for himself and the world. He is currently doing research in Western New York with his focus on Wormhole formations being the source of reported paranormal phenomena.
